COMPANY HISTORY

1960
KAMI ELECTRONICS IND. CO., LTD was established in Hirano Ward, Osaka commenced the production of low frequency transformers.
1967
Constructed Ueno plant in Ueno City, Mie Prefecture, with the support of the city's policy to attract plant investment.The plant began producing low frequency transformers and power transformers.
1969
Constructed Nabari plant in Nabari City, Mie Prefecture, with the support of the city's policy to attract plant investment. Commenced the production of components for color televisions.
1969
Completed second stage of Nabari plant (additional factory).
1972
Established KOREA KAMI ELECTRONICS CO. LTD. The plant began producing low frequency transformers and power transformers.
1976
Established SINGAPORE KAMI ELECTRONICS INDUSTRY PTE. LTD. The plant began producing power transformers.
1979
Opened Tokyo sales office in Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo.
1980
Completed third stage of Nabari plant (materials storage warehouse).
1982
Completed fourth stage of Nabari plant (office and additional factory).
1985
Completed fifth stage of Nabari plant (distribution center).
1985
Opened Los Angeles representative office.
1987
Established KAMI ELECTRONICS INDUSTRY (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. The plant began producing power transformers.
1987
Completed extension project as SINGAPORE KAMI ELECTRONICS INDUSTRY PTE. LTD.
1988
Commenced sales operation at HANG FAI TRAIDING CO. in Hong Kong.
1988
Started the production of power transformers at ZHUHAI SINTECH ELECTRONICS IND. CO. (China).
1991
Started the production of ionizer-static erasers.
1994
Established P. T. GALVA KAMI INDUSTRY (Indonesia).
1995
Completed the construction of a new plant at KAMI ELECTRONICS INDUSTRY (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD.
2015
Completed the reconstruction of new office building at Nabari Plant (Japan)
2020
Completed a new additional of P.T. GALVA KAMI INDUSTRY (Indonesia) Plant at Majalengka Regency
